Induction and Onboarding Training for The Journal of Human Police Policing Human (Pty) Ltd is a structured capacity-building programme designed for the Editorial Board, Peer Review Team, and Contributing Authors. This training equips all key participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate within the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, in alignment with standards from the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

The course covers the full editorial lifecycle—from manuscript submission, editorial workflow, and peer review to final publication—while reinforcing best practices in ethical publishing, transparency, and scholarly integrity. A dedicated module introduces authors to the journal’s expectations, formatting guidelines, submission protocols, and the values that underpin our commitment to African-led, justice-driven academic work.

By the end of this training, all participants will be prepared to contribute meaningfully to the journal’s vision of reimagining policing, justice, and human rights scholarship in Africa and beyond.
